It is very common for spouses to have separate bank accounts for various reasons. Doesn't mean anything at all. You can ask him if he's been to places you wouldn't like, but not accuse him. Maybe he is and maybe he isn't. You should give him the benefit of the doubt though unless you have some strong evidence. Other than that, you can always ask, but you must accept his answer as truth.
